Catchgate Primary School

Photos from Catchgate Primary School's post Year 5 and 6 have been visited by local author, Sarah Millington. Sarah spoke to both classes about the themes in her book ‘Demelza Rice is Not Very Nice’. The book is based on a character called Sophie Miller and her life as she begins secondary school. With the classes, she spoke about the benefits and drawbacks of starting a new school, social media and bullying as these are some of the themes Sophie has to deal with in the book. 3 Likes
