In 2 Year we have high expectations of the children because we know how capable children can be when they are in a rich environment. We follow the school's behaviour policy and try to encourage boundaries and routines in and out of setting, which helps us to develop into strong and independent learners. 

We provide lots of learning opportunities for children to explore independently. 

We encourage children to do things independently such as putting on own wellies and waterproofs, putting their coats and bags away and washing own hands before and after snack. 

How can parents and carers help? 

We recommend children bring - 

A named bag big enough for a change of clothes and letters and pictures from setting to fit in. 

A water bottle containing water only please. 

Waterproofs and wellies to stay in the setting.
