Homework Challenges are to be completed over ten weeks, so will be due in the last week of term which is week commencing 30th March. This enables us to get points marked off altogether. The minimum points we expect is 100 but feel free to excel to support learning within the class. Reading, spellings and timetables should be practiced daily at home, alongside this.

Children do not need to have written evidence for every task they complete. Here are some ways you can submit the homework:

  • Via email on the Year 2 class page on the website.
  • Photographs/Videos via FreeFlow.
  • Verbally/In person (times tables, spellings, telling the time, dancing)
  • Paper based
  • Anything that has been created or made for a task.

All homework challenges such as research, creations and investigations, are to be submitted during the last week of term, however Maths and English tasks sent home on a weekly basis, will need to be brought in the following week. Please make sure all children’s work, is clearly labelled with their full name.

Any models or inventions brought in will be sent home with the children, once their points have been marked off, as there is no space to store within school, however paper based work will be kept within school.

Thank you for your continuous support with your child’s learning. We greatly appreciate it.

Any questions, don’t hesitate to speak to any of us in Year 2.
