Mental Health Celebration Day
To celebrate our achievements regarding mental health and emotional wellbeing, on Friday 24th May, the whole school took part in a celebration event for Mental Health and Wellbeing within school and completed a sponsored walk, where everyone was invited!
Children, staff and parents were required to dress up in green clothing to represent mental health. There was a range of inflatables for children to access throughout the day; guest speakers attending school; ice cream van where children could purchase an ice cream; name our mental health bear and lots more surprises!
The whole buzz around school was uplifting and the day was a huge success! It really highlighted how much we do as a school community to promote mental health and emotional wellbeing, as well as stamping the stigma related to mental health. Have a look at our pictures from the day!
