At Catchgate Primary School we believe all children are entitled to develop to their fullest potential enabling each one to grow in confidence, knowledge and understanding.

 

We provide a happy, caring, safe and stimulating environment which promotes self-esteem, respect to self and others, co-operation and introduces a range of life skills for participation in the wider community.

 

We work in partnership with parents and the community to ensure children’s development and learning are achieved together. 

 

We aim to achieve our mission statement by:-

 

• Providing a happy, stimulating, secure and safe environment which will give all the children an equal opportunity to develop their abilities and personalities as fully as possible.

• Striving to raise achievement, setting high standards in learning and teaching, encouraging good behaviour and helping children progress continuously towards achieving their potential in all areas of the curriculum.

• Creating an atmosphere where pupils, parents, governors and staff can effectively work together to enhance the education provided for our children.

• Giving children opportunities to develop independence and the responsible attitudes that will enable them to become tolerant, active and caring members of the community.
