Wellbeing Award in School
We are delighted to announce that Catchgate has been awarded the Wellbeing Award for Schools.
We believe that feelings of wellbeing are fundamental to the overall health of an individual, enabling them to successfully overcome difficulties and achieve what they want out of life. This award looks at how well we promote the emotional wellbeing and mental health across the whole school community, including pupils, parents and staff.
The WAS change team consists of Mrs Shaw (head teacher), Miss Burns (wellbeing and resilience champion, class teacher), Mrs White-Head Lewis (school counsellor), Mrs Bambridge (school business manager and parent) Mrs Duggan (SENCO), Mr McDowall (Governor) and Mrs Stephenson (Local councillor and governor).
We also have a team of Wellbeing Warriors which consist of both parents and children from school.
With this award, we:
We look forward to continue working with you on our journey to ensuring the wellbeing of all is at the forefront of everything we do at Catchgate Primary School!
